How are bimini top made?

Bimini is an open-front cloth top that can be used for the cabin of a boat, top of a jeep or camper.  Usually, the bimini tops are braced by metal structures. Many parasol can be compressed, when they not in use. So, they can be pull out to shelter from the rain or sun.
