Now at FSS – Bonded Neoprene Sealing Washers

Fastener SuperStore now carries bonded neoprene sealing washers in steel with a galvanized finish, and in 18-8 stainless steel.
These parts feature a conically shaped metal washer, with a neoprene (synthetic rubber) washer bonded to the bottom side.
The neoprene side has a slightly smaller inner and outer diameter which helps with the sealing power in the middle, yet doesn’t show on the outside.
These washers are frequently used to provide a water-proof seal when used with self-drilling, self-tapping, self-piercing or sheet metal screws.
Increased load bearing capacity; better protection against loosening due to vibration; and minimizing damage to mating surfaces are some of the other benefits provided by these washers.
